Lalu-Rabri demands adequate relief for the inferno victims

Patna, May 31 (UNI) Railways Minister Lalu Prasad and leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly Rabri Devi demanded adequate relief to the victims of fire that gutted six localities of Mallikpur village in Raghopur of Vaishali district this afternoon.

After getting the reports of the damages in the inferno, they demanded that the Bihar government should provide adequate relief and rehabilitation to the victims' families.

They claimed they had already sent relief materials including food grains to the affected families.

More than 1000 houses, including thatched and pucca ones, were reduced to ashes in the fire that engulfed six tolas of Mallikpur village this afternoon.

Properties worth Rs 1 crore were damaged in the fire which broke out accidently. No injury, however, took place in the inferno.
