Girls outshine boys in SSLC exams in TN

Chennai, May 31: Girls outshone boys once again in the SSLC examinations, the results of which were declared this morning.

E Karthikeyan of St Joseph's HSS in Cuddalore was the lone boy featuring in the list of top rankers securing the third place with his score of 488.

Girls secured the top three ranks in the examinations with S Akshya of St Mary's GHSS in Chengalpattu coming on the top with 490 marks.

The second rank was shared by S Jazima Sulaiha of Amali GHSS Irudayakulam in Cheranmahadevi, B Sivakamasundari of Government GHS, Tiruvarur and S Divya Bharathi of Vivekananda HSS, Punducherry with each scoring 489 marks.

Lamshe R of Amala GHSS, Thuckalay, A Bala Vidhyaa, Spic Nagar HSS, Tuticorin and J Aarthi, DBTR N HSS, Mayiladuthurai shared the third place with 488 marks each.
