Girl jumps in river after failing exam
Lucknow, May 31 (UNI) A girl student depressed over her failure in the UP board examination, attempted suicide here today.
Sahana (25), a private student, who gave the board examination, tried to end her life by jumping into the Gomti river from the busy Hanuman Setu, police said.
Alert fishermen, however, intervened and saved her.
Sahana was taken to the trauma centre of King George Medical University (KGMU), where she is reported to be out of danger.
