BJP to expose ''hollow promises'' of UPA Government
New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) The BJP Minority Morcha has vowed to expose the ''hollow promises'' of the UPA Government alleging it had done nothing to implement the promises made to the minorities to improve their education and economic conditions.
A meeting of the national office bearers of the Morcha under the chairmanship of Mr Shahnawaz Hussain said the minorities were betrayed by the government which offered ''reservation lollypops'' knowing fully well that the Constitution did not permit reservation on the basis of religion.
Mr Nawaz said they would stage massive 'dharnas' and demonstrations in the capital cities of the country between June 25 to 30.
Ten lakh minority workers are expected to participate in the demonstrations, he said.
BJP president Rajnath Singh and other senior party leaders would attend the meetings.
