25 member Parliamentary team to visit Sikkim on June 3

Gangtok, May 31 (UNI) A 25-member Parliamentary team is expected to arrive in Sikkim on a two-day visit on June 3 to take stock of the labour welfare activities of the central agencies.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on labour will meet the labourers of the central agencies based in Sikkim at Gangtok on June 3.

They will interact with the Border Road Organisation labour union, BNSL officers and staff and employees of the Indian Oil Corporation to understand their problems.

The team will also visit Nathu La the same day before leaving Sikkim on June 4.
