Two passengers fined for leaving baggages unclaimed at Airport
Kolkata, May 30 (UNI) The Airports Authority of India today fined two passengers bound for Agartala from the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport for 'gross negligence'.
The passengers had left their baggages unclaimed in the security hold, according to official sources.
Alert CISF personnel seeing the unclaimed baggages, called the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad. Sniffer dogs were also brought to find out whether the baggages contained any explosives.
While this was going on, the two men returned and claimed their baggages.
CISF officials picked them up for creating the unnecessary hassle following which, the Airport authorities fined them Rs 400 each.
They were then allowed to board their flights.
