Demand of compensation for victims of police firing delays talks
Jaipur, May 30 (UNI) The talks between the four-member ministerial team and the agitating Gujjar community leaders is yet to begin as leaders of the community demanded that the government should announce compensation for victims of yesterday's police firing before the dialogue.
According to official sources, the group of ministers have already reached Dausa to hold talks with the agitating community leaders but the latter did not reach the table for opening the talks.
According to reports, the Gujjar community leaders were pressing for announcement of compensation for victims of yesterday's police firing.
The efforts for starting the dialogue were on.
The ruling BJP state President Mahesh Sharma has also appealed to the community leaders to come to the table for the talks.
