Teasers awarded cash penalty in Tripura

Agartala, May 29: West Tripura district court released three youths today after awarding cash penalty for teasing two lady traffic constables in Agartala on Sunday evening.

The court had directed the trio to pay Rs 3,000 each and meet the investigating police officer on the following day.

According to police reports, Agartala city police had arrested Bibhas Roy, Arijit Kar and Kamal Sharma, aged between 29 and 34, from Orient Chowmuhani area following a complaint lodged by two traffic control ladies.
