Punjab Mandi Board to promote traditional sports

Moga, May 29 (UNI) The Punjab Mandi Board will soon establish a sports wing for the promotion of traditional sports like hockey, wrestling and kabaddi.

This was announced here today by the Board Chairman Ajmer Singh Lakhowal.

He said that the directors of the Board had yesterday given its approval for the sports wing. The main aim of this wing would be to promote the traditional sports amongst the youth in the rural areas.
