Govt staff demands early implementation of Pay Commission report

Bangalore, May 29 (UNI) Karnataka State Government Employees' Association President L Bairappa today urged the State Government to immediately implement the pay revisions as per the Fifth Pay Commission final report to avoid extra burden on exchequer.

Speaking to reporters here he said the Association was in agreement and welcomed the recommendations of the second cabinet report regarding the hike in DA and other allowances.

He also urged the government to stop unnecessary transfers of the employees during this time of the year as their children would have to take admission in schools and colleges.
