A woman from West Bengal among two killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 29 (UNI) Two persons, including a woman, from West Bengal, were killed in the Kashmir valley today, official sources said.

They said a youth jumped into the Jehlum river at Amira Kadal early today after parking his motorcyle on a bridge.

Later, a massive operation was launched to fish out his body.

It was, however, not known why the youth took such an extreme step.

Police said body of a woman identified as Masoom, a resident of West Bengal, was also recovered at Natipora today.

Police has started investigation.
