IVRCL group turnover crosses Rs 2,500 cr in FY06-07

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Ltd today said it had achieved a turnover of over Rs 2,518.50 crore during 2006-07, registering an increase of 47 per cent over the last year.

The company net profit rose to 67.5 per cent at Rs 1,009.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 602.57 crore during the same period last fiscal.

The enterprise's net profit soared by 57 per cent to Rs 168.9 crore for the year 2006-07 as against Rs 107.8 crore the previous year.

''IVRCL has achieved an accelerated growth and crossed a turnover of Rs 2,500 crore during the year 2006-07,'' company's Chairman and Managing Director E Sudhir Reddy said in a statement.

The company recommended a 50 per cent dividend that is one rupee per share of two rupees each.
