Hero Honda unveils new 'Splendor' at Rs 40,990

New Delhi, May 28: Country's leading bike manufacturer Hero Honda today launched two variants of its all new Splendor NXG priced at Rs 40,990 and Rs 41,990.

The new model comes with a new powerful engine of 100 cc in two variants -- one with alloy wheels and other with spokes gear.

The first of the two models with a self-start is Rs 1,000 costlier than the spokes gear bike.

''Splendor is the largest selling bike in the world. We sold 1.1 million units of the model alone last year,'' Hero Honda Chairman Brijmohan Lall Munjal told reporters at the launch.

It will be available in five colours including blue, black, silver and maroon flashing a new tail light.
