Delhi receives yet another spell of rains

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) As western disturbances maintained influence over Northwest India, Delhi today again received fresh spell of rains accompanied by high velocity winds, keeping the temperature below normal at 39.2 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature also touched a low of 22.2 degrees Celsius, six degrees below normal.

The Met department said the scattered rains over the last few days in the national capital, which was braving scorching weather, has ''considerably cooled down the climate''.

The met department has forecast scattered rains or thundershowers over the NorthWest region till tomorrow and decrease thereafter.

Isolated squall or hail is also likely over the region during the same period.

For the next 24 hours in Delhi, the weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm accompanied by squall in some areas.

Also, the maximum temperature is likely to remain around 39 degrees Celsius.
