TDP to regain power in Andhra Pradesh: Naidu
Tirupati, May 27 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today exuded confidence that his party would regain power in Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at the three-day TDP Mahanadu meeting here, Mr Naidu said the party would relentlessly fight for the people's cause and concentrate more for the welfare of the farmers.
Referring to Congress rule in the state, Mr Naidu alleged that the state government had neglected all major sectors like agriculture, irrigation, health, power, education and employment.
On Special Economic Zones (SEZs) issue, he said the corporates were using the SEZ policy for real estate business.
The party would fight for the farmers, whose lands had been acquired for the SEZs.
The party would fight for getting Telugu language, the same status as was given to Tamil language, he added.
