Shimla MC polls will have no bearing in Hamirpur:BJP

Shimla, May 27 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh BJP unit is confident that the defeat of the party in the Shimla Municipal Corporation polls would have no bearing of the chances of the party in the Hamirpur Lok Sabha byelection.

In a statement issued here today former BJP state chief Suresh Bhardwaj alleged that large scal bogus voting by the Congress had taken place in the MC polls.

He said that BJP will submit a memorandom to the state Governor against the 'wrong practices' adopted by the ruling party in the MC elections.
