Police arrest gay man for murder of school boy

Vijayawada, May 27 (UNI) Police have arrested a homosexual Gundu Shiva alias 'Oil' here for the murder of a ten-year-old schoolboy.

City police Commissioner C V Anand told mediapersons here yesterday that the boy Chitta Raghava Krishna Chaitanya, who was studying in class five in R K Public School was reported missing on February 16 this year and his highly decomposed body, with marks of strangulation, was found behind an abandoned residential quarter in RTC workshop at Vidyadarpuram three days later.

Mr Anand said Shiva had the habit of homosexual activity since three years and he had sex with nine children so far.

Shiva came into contact with Chaitanya at a panshop, after a person known to him but was not involved in the case, dropped him there on the evening of February 16.

Later Shiva took the boy to an abandoned residential quarter and shown him obscene pictures of different noted actresses loaded in his mobile.

The Commissioner said Shiva then had sex with the boy and the latter while resisting it died due to suffocation.

Later, Shiva threw the boy's body in a septic tank there and went away.

Mr Anand however said the mystery was solved on a tip off that some children were also involved in it. Later, after seeking the details from other children, the AGS team arrested Shiva, Mr Anand added.
