Ranchi, May 27 (UNI) Former Vice-President of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Roshanlal Bhatia, today criticised a section of party leaders for allegedly making ''adverse comments'' against the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government in the state.

Mr Bhatia claimed that after a long time, the party had formed a secular government after ousting the BJP-led NDA coalition and would not give any opportunity to the Opposition by withdrawing its support from the state government.

Several state party leaders along with Union Minister of State for Food Processing Subodhkant Sahay had allegedly ''made adverse remarks'' over the functioning of the Koda government during a party rally organised at Simdega two days ago.

Referring to appointments in Boards and Corporations owned by the state government, Mr Bhatia said the posts should be given to devoted party workers rather than any party MLA.
