Cong demands the arrest of BJP MLAs son for firing on villagers

Jaipur, May 27(UNI) The Congress body demanded the immediate arrest of son of the ruling BJP MLA Jaganath Verma who opened fire on the villagers in the constituency.

According to police an excise team went to conduct a raid in Jheekni village in Jhalawar district on Friday but had to return empty handed due to the vociferous protest by the villagers. Later the lawmaker's son Anil Sharma came along with the raiding party and opened fire on the resisting villagers. Three people were injured in the incident.

Police have registered a case and is searching for the accused.
