Guwahati, May 26 (UNI) The ULFA today brought this city to a standstill, exploding the most powerful bomb in recent times, killing seven persons and injuring 25 others setting in panic throughout here.
Another very powerful bomb was recovered from inside the Brahmaputra mail travelling towards New Delhi. The bomb was removed from the train at Kokrajhar station upsetting the entire train schedule of the NF railway.

The opposition alleged that complete lawlessness had gripped the entire Asom while BJP demanded President's rule in the state.
''There is anarchy everywhere,'' said BJP state president Ramen Deka.
Meanwhile, more forces were being rushed to Asom as Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi briefed the situation during the day to Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil.
The Union Home Ministry has also reviewed the situation in New Delhi while Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has condemned the attack.
The ULFA placed the bomb in an auto-rickshaw and set it off at 1030 hours in the busiest districts of the city, killing all the five on the spot and two on way to the hospital. The injured, seven of them critically, have been hospitalised.
Additional Deputy Commissioner C K Bhuyan confirming the deaths said ULFA militants came in the auto-rickshaw and disembarked in front of the maternity hospital leaving the RDX laden bomb inside the vehicle.
