UHBVN to improve power transmission in Kaithal

Chandigarh, May 26: The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam have decided to set up a new 132 KV substation at village Noutch, upgrade existing 33 KV substation to 132 KV level at Rajound and construct a new 33 KV substation at Guhna to improve power transmission and distribution network of Kaithal district.

A spokesman for the power Utilities said that the existing capacity of 33 KV substation Keroak would be augmented during this year to meet the growing demand of electricity of the area.

He said that 14 new feeder meters were being installed at 11 KV level feeders to record energy supplied to the consumers and energy audit.
