Two youths electrocuted in Udhampur

Jammu, May 26 (UNI) Two youths died of electrocution and an equal number of people suffered burn injuries when a high tension wire fell in Rambal area of Udhampur district, police today said.

The electric wire fell down on domestic power supply lines yesterday evening, which also resulted in the damage of the electronic gadgets at New Basti Kothi Malhar that falls under the jurisdiction of Rambal police station, police added.

The deceased were identified as Bodh Raj, 25, and Sumit Sharma, 20, residents of New Basti Kothi Malhar.

Two injured, Ram Lal and Ram Pyare, were taken to the nearby hospital.
