Tata Tele CEO Darryl Green resigns
Mumbai, May 26 (UNI) Tata Teleservices Ltd Chief Executive Officer Darryl Green has resigned citing personal reasons after serving for two years.
A Tata Tele spokesperson confirmed that Mr Darryl Green had quit the company.
''Mr Green tendered his resignation citing personal reasons,'' Tata Tele spokesperson said in a statement here tonight.
Commenting on his tenure, Mr Green said was his privilege to have been associated with the Tata Group, and he is proud of the team at Tata Teleservices and its achievements, a statement released by the Tata Tele said quoting the CEO.
Mr Green, who took over as CEO of Tata Tele on June 8, 2005, had worked with international telecom majors, including Vodafone, Global Crossing Japan, and AT&T, before joining the Tata Tele.
He had played a critical role in restructuring the company to increase efficiency by consolidating nine regional operating companies.
