Seventy-year-old man clobbered to death

Kolhapur, May 26 (UNI) A 70-year-old man was beaten to death today by three members, including a woman and her two children, of a family over the land dispute at village Yavluj in Panhala tehsil of the district today.

The deceased, Anand Govind Gurav, was working in his field, when the three members, including a woman and her two children, of rival family allegedly attacked him with sticks and stones, killing him on the spot, police sources said.

Police attributed the cause of the crime to a land dispute between the two families.

No arrests have made so far in this connection, sources added.
