Seven get lifer for murder

Khagaria, May 26 (UNI) A fast track court of Khagaria has awarded life imprisonment to seven persons in a twin murder case. The convicts were also slapped with a fine of Rs 20,000 each.

The fast track court judge T.K.Shah found guilty Kapileshwar Singh, Pramod Singh, Krishna Dev Singh, Manoj Singh, Ramdev Singh, Subodh Singh and Asin Singh for committing murder of Madhav Singh and Dulo Devi.

According to the charges, Madhav Singh, a resident of Sondiha village under Parsaha police station of Khagaria district and a woman -Dulo Devi, who came for rescue of Madhav Singh, were shot dead by the convicts in 2001.
