Road rage: four policemen suspended

Rajgarh, MP, May 26 (UNI) An absconding traffic sub-inspector and three constables were suspended in connection with a road accident in which one person was killed at Khilchipur in this district, police said.

Superintendent of Police D K Arya said traffic sub-inspector Rajendra Chawaria, who was driving the jeep, and three constables Purushottam Sharma, Vijay Saini and Mahendra Sharma were suspended.

Chawaria was absconding since the incident.

One person was killed last evening and three were injured, two of them seriously, when the jeep rammed into two bicycles.

Incensed over the incident, people had stoned and damaged the police vehicle.
