Property of over Rs 4 lakh gutted

Bhadohi, May 26 (UNI) A fire in a carpet factory gutted property of over Rs four lakh in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said the factory of Jan Prakash Dubey in Durgapur village of Aurati area caught fire due to a lamp lit their late last night.

Property, including carpets and raw material of over Rs four lakh, was reduced to ashes in the mishap.

The inferno was extinguished with the help of the locals and fire-fighters.
