Principal Secy Sharvari Gokhale injured in road accident

Mumbai, May 26 (UNI) Principal Secretary of Environment Sharvari Gokhale was injured in a road accident.

Ms Gokhale (57) suffered serious injuries when a speeding motor tanker hit her car at Sion-Trombay road, while she was on her way to Mumbai from Mahabaleshwar at 0745 hrs yesterday, police said here today.

Ms Gokhale has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sion Hospital.

The tanker driver Mohammed Sayyed Asif Mohammed Khan (36) has been arrested.
