Pak national, former PWD clerk remanded into police custody

New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) A Pakistani national and a former PWD employee of Rajasthan, arrested yesterday for possessing sensitive documents, were today remanded into seven days' police custody by a city court.

The arrests were made when the former PWD clerk Sheikh Moimuddin Rizvi was handing over the maps of defence installations in Rajasthan and a few other documents to Mohammad Yusuf near Jama Masjid.

Yusuf had visited Pakistan last month and had been sending all information he collected to his contacts via e-mail from here.

He had in between visited Hyderabad too and left his passport there.

He was in Delhi to collect the defence sensitive documents.

The two were produced in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Seema Maini who granted police the remand that they sought to find out the master-mind behind them.
