One person injured as IndianOil securitymen shoot at petrol thieves

Bangalore, May 26 (UNI) One Person was injured when a security guard belonging to IndianOil shot at a five-member group of persons who were trying to steal petrol from the company's Depot at Devagondi on the outskirts of the city last night.

According to police, the injured Yallappa was injured in the shoot out. He was caught while the other escaped under the cover of darkness. The injured, who received pellet injuries on his right eye and the chest, was shifted to General Hospital at nearby Hoskote town.

A special investigation team had been formed to nab other gang members, police added.
