One killed by lightning, two bodies recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 26 (UNI) One person was killed by lightning while bodies of two others were recovered from a river in the Kashmir valley today.

A police spokesman said one Mukhtar Ahmad Parray, resident of Chewan Keller died when lightning struck him at Shalpathri Batfojan in South Kashmir district of Anantnag.

He said, police today recovered bodies of one Tilak Raj, a resident of Bushan, Jammu and Ghulam Nabi Sheikh from river Sindh at Hari Ganwan, Kangan, in Ganderbal district today.

He said police have registered a case and started investigation.
