One dies in naxal-triggered explosion
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, May 26 (UNI) One person was killed and four policemen injured when naxals triggered a landmine explosion today at Pankhjur road, about 150 km from Kanker district headquarters, police said.
A truck cleaner was killed in the blast, while its driver escaped unhurt. The truck overturned due to the impact of the blast.
A few policemen were returning from patrol and had taken lift in the truck.
Meanwhile, naxals set two trucks on fire at Chhotedongar area in Narayanpur district. Before setting the truck ablaze, the ultras had made the passengers alight.
The trucks, carrying pebbles, were on its way from Narayanpur to Dhaudai village.
