One die in naxal-triggered explosion
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, May 26 (UNI) One person today died and four policemen were injured when naxals triggered a landmine explosion at Pankhjur road, about 150 km from Kanker district headquarters, police said.
A truck cleaner was killed during the blast, while its driver escaped unhurt. The truck overturned due the blast's impact.
Some policemen were returning from patrol and had taken lift in the truck.
Meanwhile, naxals set two trucks on fire at Chhotedongar area in Narayanpur district. Before setting the truck ablaze, the ultras had made the passengers to alight.
The trucks, carrying pebbles, were on its way from Narayanpur to Dhaudai village.
