Nitish and Modi condemn killings in Asom
Patna, May 26 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi today expressed shock at the ''systematic killings'' of non-Asomese and urged the Asom government to ensure security and safety to outsiders living in the state.
Referring to today's ulfa triggered blast in Guwahati where at least seven people were killed, Mr Kumar and Mr Modi wondered at recurrence of bombings in different parts of Asom, targeting primarily the non-Asomese population.
They sought the Central government's intervention to restore law and order situation there and to ensure safety and security of outsiders living there.
