Hundreds worship Sri Govindaraja Swamy

Tirupati, May 26 (UNI) Hundreds of devotees worshipped Sri Govindaraja Swamy and his consorts when the idols were taken around the four mada streets in 'Kalpavriksha Vahanam' on the fourth day of the nine-day annual Brahmotsavam here today.

The procession of 'Kalpavriksha Vahanam' was accompanied by the temple priests, chanting vedic hymns.

In the evening, 'Unjal Seva' was performed in the Unjal Mandapam by the temple priests.

Later, the Swamy Varu placed on 'Sarvabhupala Vahanam' was taken in a procession around the four mada streets of the temple.

UNI
