Georgia State University students in Chennai

Chennai, May 26: A student delegation from Georgia State University is in the city as part of two-week study abroad trip that focuses on entrepreneurship and other development prospects.

The students will meet business leaders, visit cultural sites, government institutes and also interact with the students from major Indian universities.

The main focus of the trip was to understand cultural differences in business environments and entrepreneurial activities in India.

Talking to mediapersons here today, Great Lakes Entrepreneurship Development Forum (GLEDF) Corporate Initiatives Director and Head Veeravalli said '' Interactions like this will help the students to enhance their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills along with improving their cross cultural sensitivity.'' ''Our students have a flair for entrepreneurship and we are confident that this meet will bring good amount of knowledge and experience and promote further visits,'' he added.

As part of their visit to Great Lakes, the students of GSU and GLEDF would discuss India centric entrepreneurship besides exchanging best practices.

Students from both sides with prior entrepreneurial experience would also share their experiences with the group.
