Five Pakistanis arrested for visa violation in Karnataka
Mysore, May 26 (UNI) The city police today arrested five Pakistan nationals, including three woman, for violation of Foreigners Act.
Police said that the arrested had been identified as Kamarunnisa, Rehaman Bibi, Sharifa Bibi, Asgar and Umaransar.
The Pakistanis arrived in the city on May three on a visa issued at Islamabad. They had entered India by train through Attari railway check post but reported to the police only today.
According to the Act, any foreign national arriving in the country should report to the police within 24 hours of their arrival.
On their production, a city court today remanded them to 15 days of judicial custody.
They had mentioned the name of P K Usman, who stays in the city, as their relative and in whose house they would be staying during their visit to India, police added.
