Fiserv to set up delivery centre in Pune

New Delhi, May 26: Fiserv India, an IT service provider to the financial services industry, has announced the opening up of its new delivery center in Pune.

The centre will provide IT, quality assurance testing, BPO and infrastructure services to customers in various financial services domains including banking, credit unions, insurance, payments, credit cards, investments, lending and healthcare.

The one lakh square feet development centre will have a capacity to house 1,500 professionals.

With this, Fiserv India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fiserv Inc, will have four global delivery service centers, including three in Noida, NCR region employing more than 1,000 professionals.

''In order to reach our growth goals, we need to tap resources in multiple cities with quality manpower. Pune was selected because of its high quality of manpower resources, excellent educational institutions, cosmopolitan culture and good infrastructure,'' Fiserv Global Services Group President Arun Maheshwari said.

Fiserv will continue the geographical expansion both in India as well as in other lower cost countries, he added.
