Dr Shyam Sunder Vyas to get Pandit Brijlal Dwivedi Smriti Samman

Indore, May 26 (UNI) The first Pandit Brijlal Dwivedi Smriti Akhil Bharatiya Sahityik Patrakarita Samman would be conferred on Indore-based magazine Veena's editor Dr Shyam Sunder Vyas at a programme to be organised at press club here tomorrow.

Dr Vyas was selected for the award by a five-member panel consisting people from media and literature fraternity. This included Mr Vishwanath Sachdev, Mr Vijaydatt Shridhar, Mr Ramesh Naiyar, Mr Sachchidanand Joshi and Mr Girish Pankaj.

Dr Vyas has been serving as the magazine's editor since the past 35 years.

The award carries a momento and Rs 11,000.
