BJP demands white paper on ISI activities in AP
Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh BJP unit president B Dattatreya today demanded that the state government release a white paper on actions taken by the government to check ISI activities in the state.
In an open letter to Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, a copy of which was released to the media here, Mr Dattatraya alleged that the Congress government was appeasing the Muslim community by not taking action against the people, who were creating communal tensions in the state.
''The government should stop indulging in appeasement and vote bank politics. It should concentrate on maintaining law and order in the state,'' he added.
The BJP leader questioned the government for not extending a Rs five-lakh ex gratia, job and house, announced for the victims of Mecaa Masjid bomb blast, to the victims of communal violence at Kama Reddy and Armour in Nizamabad District.
