Achuthanandan, Pinarayi suspended from CPM polit bureau

New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) Sending a clear message that it would brook no indiscipline, the CPI (M) today suspended Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan and State Party Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan from the polit bureau for airing their differences on various issues in public.

''The polit bureau concludes that their behaviour is unacceptable and action should be taken against them. The matter will be placed before the CPI (M) Central Committee, the Party's highest policy- making body, which is meeting here on June 24-26'' Party General Secretary Prakash Karat told a press conference here at the end of the two-day polit bureau meeting.
