6 arrested for gambling

Surat, May 26 (UNI) Police have arrested six persons for gambling and seized cash of Rs 107,460 and eight mobile phones worth Rs 24,400 from a house during a raid yesterday.

The police team raided a house in River View apartment last eveneing and arrested the six for gambling.

The arrested were identified as Nizar Abdul Sheikh, Rafil Ghulam Sheikh, Samshad Abdulkhayum, Mildu Gaffar Razakh Khan, Mehbub Bhatakhawala and Rafique Doodwala, all residing in Chowk Bazar area, police added.
