5 Pakistani nationals arrested
Mysore, May 26 (UNI) The city police today arrested five Pakistani nationals, including three women, for violating Foreigners Act.
Police said the arrested had been identified as Kamarunnisa, Rehaman Bibi, Sharifa Bibi, Asgar and Umaransar.
The Pakistani nationals arrived in the city on May three on a visa issued at Islamabad. They had entered India by train through Attari railway check post but reported to the police only today.
According to the Act, any foreign national arriving in the country should report to the police within 24 hours of their arrival.
After being produced in a city court today, the arrested were remanded to 15 days in judicial custody.
They had mentioned about one P K Usman, living in the city, as their relative, police added.
