4 killed, 21 injured in road accidents

Badwani, MP, May 26 (UNI) Four people were killed and 21 injured in two different road accidents in this district today, police said.

Police said truck drivers Ashok and Purushottam were killed on the spot when their vehicles collided head-on on Agra-Mumbai national highway near Julwaniya this morning.

Two of three other injured succumbed to their injuries on way to district hospital, where the third injured was admitted.

The accident caused blockade for 7 hours on the national highway, police added.

In another accident, 20 people, including 9 women, were injured when a private bus overturned near Anjad village.

The bus was on its way to Khargone from Badwani when the accident occured. Of the injured, 18 were admitted to the Anjad hospital and rest at Badwani hospital, police added.
