1 killed in fire in Tops pickle factory in West Delhi

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) One person was killed in a fire that broke out in a pickle factory in West Delhi late tonight.

Fire department officials said the blaze was reported at 2135 hrs in the Tops pickle factory in Mathela village of Uttam Nagar.

The fire broke out after a broiler in the factory exploded, officials added.

Sixteen fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to control the blaze, they said.

The identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained.
