Sugar prices recovers on improved demand

Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) Sugar prices recovered on improved demand, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchant's Association said today.

Sugar in small and medium grades rose by Rs 10 and Rs five per quintal respectively on better buying support.

Ex-mill small and medium grades was up by Rs 15 and Rs 25 per quintal respectively on lesser stock supply.

Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,305/1,340, Medium grade: Rs 1,340/1,390, Ex mill small grade Rs 1,285/1,295, Medium grade: Rs 1,335/1,365.
