Sail India Futures tennis tournament begins tomorrow

Chandigarh, May 25 (UNI) Vijayant Malik, Tushar Liberhan and Kinshuk Sharma, all products of Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA), have been given wild cards in the main draw of the Sail India third Futures beginning on May 28 at the CLTA Stadium in Sector 10 here.

According to Tournament Referee Puneet Gupta, Srirambalaji Narayanaswamy is the fourth Indian to be awarded wild card in the main draw.

Davis Cupper Sunil Kumar Sipeya and Sanam Singh, both trainees of CLTA are in the main draw of 32 by virture of their ITF rankings.

Meanwhile, the qualifying matches to identify eight qualifiers for the main draw in the ,000 ITF Futures will begin tomorrow.

Shiva Sangwan and Mandeep Singh Gill, both trainees of CLTA got wild cards in the qualifying draw of 64.

Others who got wild cards are: N P Sidhu, Satpal Dagar, Gursharan Singh, Ronak Manjua, K Entekhabi Fard and Rohan Gujjar.
