RCOM announces free outgoing call for its customers

Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) Anil Ambani promoted Reliance Communications today announced free unlimited outgoing calls to any local Reliance mobile phones within a group for its subscribers.

The new plan which is currently being launched in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, and in the states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh will benefit over five million Reliance subscribers who have high outgoing calling needs, amongst their community of interest.

The new pre-paid unlimited plan is available at Rs 490 for 30 days and gives Rs 100 bonus talk time for other calls. It also offers attractive rates for calling other phones. Similarly, in post-paid, the subscriber can opt for a pack worth Rs 375 only to get the benefits of unlimited calling while roaming on any post-paid plan.

Announcing the offer in a tele conference from Mumbai, Reliance Communications Personal Business President S P Shukla said, ''The launch of unlimited outgoing calling in these locations provide heavy users an ideal product, enabling them to speak to any local Reliance user for unlimited duration for free. This will significantly cut down their costs even while perfectly complementing our incoming products.'' Within weeks span Reliance announced as many as three new plans for its subscribers and it seems clear that the tariff war among the mobile operator is going to intensify in coming time.
