No troop cut in J
Srinagar, May 25 (UNI) The Centre today ruled out any troop withdrawal from Jammu and Kashmir till complete peace and normalcy was restored in the strife-torn state.
Union Minister of State for Defence P Raju told reporters on the margins of a function here that the troops cannot be withdrawn from the state till restoration of complete normalcy.
''Normalcy was yet to restore in Jammu and Kashmir...That is why the Army is here,'' he added.
Mr Raju said the troops would continue to remain in the state till there was significant change in the overall security situation.
