Fire in factory, one injured

Barrackpore, May 25 (UNI) An youth sustained burn injuries when a fire gutted a chemical workshop at Motijheel under Dum Dum police station in North 24 Parganas today.

Fire Brigade sources said, fire broke out in the premises of Dutt Co Chemical Works.

The chemical stock and other materials, including a heat chamber, were damaged.

Altogether eight fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames that lasted for about two hours.

The injured (21) has been admitted to R.G.Kar Medical College Hospital, sources said.
